In one of my last post I announced the formation and start of the Make a Difference Utah Family Volunteer Group that I started; I am so Excited to tell you that In less than a week, we grew the volunteer group to over 700 people and got the buzz going about family volunteering! I couldn’t be more humbled and honored to be apart of something that is helping to make a difference while strengthening the bond between families and empowering future role models!
A few weeks ago, We had our first Family Volunteer Activity which proved to be quite successful! Kids, Families, and Friends gathered at Vivian Park up Provo Canyon to clean garbage, give back together, and then delight in a campfire and s’mores afterwards. It was truly a great time (Besides the Part when I got Stung by a Bee and Smacked in the face by a Tree! Haha… Make sure to Watch it all on Video Below!). All the kids had a blast making cleaning up an adventure and of course a (friendly) competition. It was so Fun seeing all the kids helping out and making a difference and of course, watching all the families spend quality time together.
Thank you to everyone who came out for our first low-key Family Volunteer Activity! It was great to get to know all of you, and I cant Wait till we do it again!
